Scientific name: Anthurium Scherzerianum
Origin: Costa Rica
Overview: The anthurium is a small growing plant which at first, grows in clumps and eventually forms loose stems. Its leaves are lanceolate, coriaceous and dark green. The flower of the anthurium plant is composed of the spadix which is an orange-red spike, and the spathe, a leaf that is usually a red colour. This plant flowers all year round.

- Temperature: Hot. Minimum 13ºC
- Fertilizer: Balanced (20-20-20 All Purpose) or for green plants during the growth period at half the recommended dosage.
